I really should change the name of this blog to ‘No longer stuck in a rut’, but it’s had this name for so long that I don’t have the heart to change it now! I originally started this blog in order to push myself to take risks and get myself out of my comfort zone, and it has definitely worked! I’m an Irish girl living in New Zealand with my Scottish fiance, Gerry, and our rescue pup, Mario. I run a small boutique postcard business that I have dreamed about creating since I first figured out how to use a camera, and I have just left my full time job to help my fiance set up another business. Now that I have hit the 30 age mark I want more than ever to never be Stuck In A Rut again!

Come join me on my journey as we set up a new business together, figure out how to be dog parents, plan a wedding and navigate the dreaded thirties!

You can follow me on insta and YouTube too!

  1. And the first thing that came to your mind was more than 3000 squats in 7 days? Do you wanna kill yourself? 😉

    A big hug from Barcelona!!

  2. Well you know what the English say about the Irish!! Seriously, just wanted to offer my warm greetings and heartfelt thanks for you deciding to follow Learning from Dogs. Keep up the blogging. You will make many fascinating connections right across the world. So there! 😉

  3. Hi heffronsarah and Gerry,

Thank you for following my photography/lyric essay blog http://www.throughharoldslens.com.

I hope you enjoy your journey.

To help launch you on your travels, I thought you might enjoy a couple of “Quick Links” to a few of my favorites, from over 200 posts, on Through Harold’s Lens:

    “Five Senses” (France)

    “Maiden Mild” (Poland)

    “Shaken, Not Stirred” (Sweden)

Hope Parsley doesn’t get too excited over this one!

On behalf of the Through Harold’s Lens Creative Team, my trusty sidekick Mr. SLR Nikon, his brother Mr. Pen Pal and myself, we wish you the best.
